With Securest ™, you have the choice of safe, 100-percent cotton, flame-resistant sleepwear in comfortable, loose-fitting styles.
- What is Securest?
Securest™ is protective, flame-resistant, cotton fabric.
- Is it safe?
Extensive studies have been undertaken by the most reputable independent organizations, including government bodies such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Sciences, to validate the use of Securest™ fabrics. Over the 40 years of use around the world, there have been no skin irritation or other health problems reported.
- How does it protect from fire?
Securest™ fabrics decompose under the influence of a flame to form a localized insulating char which stays in place and helps protect the wearer. The fabric does not smolder, has no afterglow and flame does not spread outside the charred area.
- How are Securest fabrics treated?
The flame-resistant process takes place at the finishing stage of cotton and cotton-blended fabric production which ensures the fabric’s performance and durability while maintaining the natural properties and characteristics of cotton fabric.
- Does it meet US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)
Guidelines for children’s sleepwear?
Garments manufactured from Securest™ fabrics meet the CPSC Federal Code of Regulations 1615 and 1616.
- Why look for the Securest logo?
The Securest logo guarantees a garment that that is safe, comfortable, reliable and durable. Securest is the only safe, flame-resistant, cotton fabric available.
