Securest™ fabrics form a localized insulation protective char which stays in place and helps protect the wearer. The fabric does not smolder, has no afterglow and flame does not spread outside the charred area.
Unlike synthetic garments, like polyester, Securest does not melt away to form a hole which flames can penetrate nor do they form hot, sticky residue which can adhere to the skin of the wearer.
